Our Kitchen cabinet hardware products are beautifully handcrafted to retain their original color and beauty throughout a lifetime of service. We guarantee it. If the highest quality knobs and pulls is your goal, let us prove to you that "Quality, not regret" is more than just our motto.
Granite, quarried from the mountains of Italy, the United States, India, Brazil, Norway, Russia, Sri Lanka, China, Africa and dozens of other countries around the world, is the most popular natural stone. It exists everywhere in the world, yet nowhere is it the same. Even from the same quarry, no two pieces are identical. It is an extremely hard rock formed by volcanic activity. Its shimmering beauty lies in the crystals of quartz, mica, and feldspar trapped within. These minerals combine in varying percentages that account for the color, veining and crystallization patterns that make each granite deposit unique. Other minerals, such as magnetite, pyrite, garnet and hematite can occur in much smaller amounts, and as such, it is these different combinations that create the wide range of granite varieties that are available throughout the world. So-called consistent granite has the same pattern throughout. Variegated granite has veins that vary from piece to piece, which add character but also make it difficult to match.
Available in a striking array of colors as seen below, granite's durability and longevity make it ideal for cabinet knobs and pulls and other heavily used surfaces, including tabletops and floors. Some stones have a tight almost uniformed pattern like solid surface materials while other stones have a great deal of movement with a looser grain. Some materials have NON – STRUCTURAL cracks within the material (see Baltic Brown). These are actually natural fissures in the material and are nothing to be alarmed about. Some materials have an abundance of the mineral Mica (see Dakota Mahogany), which isn’t a hard mineral and therefore does not take a high shine leaving dull spots in the light. Remember that this is a PRODUCT OF NATURE and will vary in shade, color, tone, and granularity through out.

Please remember that these knobs and pulls are fashoned from natural granite. Minor imperfections in the granite will be displayed in the finished pieces. We believe that these minor imperfections add to the charm and style of the pieces. |
